That is just strange. What happens if you coat yourself in it and then jump in a pool? I think you will bounce off the surface continually until you reach land

My assumption would be that to place it on skin would be extremely bad.

Considering most of the body is made up of liquids and skin is absorbent and porous, this can by no means be safe.

My thoughts exactly. This is why this product will probably only ever be for manufacturing usage and never on store shelves.

You wouldn't bounce, if you notice in the video the liquids touch and come off. If you were to idiotically coat yourself in this, and jump into a pool the water would simply not cling to your skin, the water would still surround you, think of it like Oil and Water, they are in the same pot but they do not mix.

With blood, sweat and the oils generated from your skin, this will repel in different directions being essentially pushed onto itself, possibly causing a rash or some other kind of reaction. I wouldn't be surprised if you received a burn like mark as a result.

However, this material *could* be coated on something else, like say a scuba like suit.
