Egypt Highlander Event

I've been doing some thinking. We should start up a highlander event every Friday night for a 2-3 hour period just to mix things up. So much of the time, we see an overabundance of one class or a lack of teamwork in general and these things remove the real suspense from the gameplay. With a highlander event, it would mean that each member of a team is irreplaceable and would be vital to its efforts to win. A single engineer would require more strategy and support than the usual array of three of them. A single medic would be a much greater bounty to a sniper and said sniper would be a very important backstab for a spy. It would be a great time to really gather together our best guys in the community for the roles as well. I'd be doing a hat raffle the inaugural night too, just to really kick things off. We'd need to drop our server to 18 players for such an event, but I think it would be worth it. What do you guys say?

I'd be down for an event night, and I've always been a big fan of the highlander format. Don't agree with too much at the beginning of this but i like the end

I'm down as long as we split CT classes and skill evenly. I'll be medic opposite of Vlad.

So Apple, Guilt and Badman were all keen on the idea today. I think we should make a server announcement ahead of time so regulars are not surprised.

I'll schedule this for the 21st from 8-10PM Central time if that sounds like a plan. As soon as we're all okay with the setup, I'll put it on the events calendar.

I'm in, but can't decide on class. I call dibs on scout then, because i'm sure we have enough mediocre soldiers like me around to do that job at an equal or better value anyway.

Sounds interesting, if I don't forget about it I mightt just get on TF2. Not sure what specific class I'd play though...maybe pryo.

too many pyros -__-, i guess BBQ for anyone then but i would like to challenge another sniper >=D ive been pretty trigger happy about my sniper rifle, dare i say bring on the heads! Twisted Evil
