Check out these updates from the TF2 website - valve is up to something.

Apparently they've updated the administrator's voice ques ingame to reflect some of the coming changes... the administrator is a character now.

It might be just a BF2 style commander which one can chooce to play. But I don't know how that would work in TF2, I mean the game isn't really complex or big.

Yeah, I'm thinking demo vs. soldier update as well. There's a ridiculous amount of characterization in tf2, considering there's no plot or dialogue really.

I'm thinking it's gonna be some sort of contest where they total up the global kills made by demomen/soldiers over, say, a week and the winning class gets updated first.

I got like 25 of demos killed yesterday. But yawn the gameplay when it's mostly demos and soldiers. Never seen such a spamfest in any game ever.

I fully expect soldiers to win a competition between the two. They're better rounded.

Yeah, especially considering some of the best players in the game all main soldier. I wonder what the new soldier weapon is?
