So now that HL2 has been out for like 2000 years, what are your guyses favorite source mods?

I've been playing lots of PVKII on and off for the last few years, and I still suck ass at it. Just this week I made a major revelation in learning that you could parry people. Rolling Eyes

Looking for more good HL2 mods to play.

I like the Insurgency. They have improved the game and I think now the biggest problem is some of the maps(they are moving away from the Iraq in the next update tho.).

And Dystopia just got a new release.

Both have quite a big playerbase.

There isn't really that many good mods that has people still playing them. The ideas are good, but source can't handle bigger scale maps and often the mods turns out to be huge failures on performance.

I used to kick ass at Battlegrounds. I could bayonet people all damn day. The source guys really don't know close combat like we do and I would totally take advantage of it.

Last night I played a bunch of BG with some clan called Sesame Street. I ended up talking to them for a long time, there is actually a semi-huge competitive scene for BG.

That mod is such a kick in the ass - I'm gonna start playing it all the time. The gameplay is the closest thing to BFP out there, and there's actually a ton of clans to play Shocked

Has anyone here played Goldeneye: Source? That's probably the best one I've played since it plays exactly like the original. Perfect Dark: Source is coming along, but still buggy as all get out. I keep an eye on that one too.

Okay the BG mod is complete ownage. I highly recommend anyone with Source get it. Also highly recommend getting the Orange Box if you don't have Source....TF2 is pretty fun too.
