Can't open pirates in BC42

I downloaded the .cfg and .lst files from the sticky on this forum, but I can't seem to get it working properly. Every time I try to open the pirates mod in BC42, it crashes.

Yes, I did make sure to change the path in the .cfg file. It's also a fresh install of pirates. The previous .cfg and .lst I had (which worked before) don't seem to work either, so it's probably not them.

Any ideas what's going on?

Scratch that.

Re-downloading and reinstalling BC42 seemed to fix it. No idea what the problem was.

weird. lst and cfg files should not prevent it opening. it seems like bad map files are the only thing that ever prevented it. But apparently it wasnt that either. Razz

But it wasn't the maps, it crashed even before I was prompted to open map / new map etc.
