A space station was sold in Entropia for $100,000 in 2005 and an island for $26,500 in 2004.

If I recall, Entropia was the first version. Entropia Universe is a continuation of the series.

Why would it? As you can probably see, it's not as good looking game as Crysis so they can probably make it run on most 6000 and 9000 series cards.

Drunken, like Stealth said you can make real money in the game.

It's business to buy things in Entropia. Like buying the space station. The buyer turned it to a disco and everyone had to pay to get in. He also had deals with real dj's to perform in his virtual disco.

Stealth, you are right. Universe is the new version. I just noted that it's not a new thing.

Players exchange their money to the game's virtual money and they can also exchange the virtual money back to real money. It's like a normal currency, just virtual. The game company can make as much as they want their own currency and naturally more real money is exchanged to virtual money than virtual to real, because players have to spend some of their money on virtual items that they buy from NPC's, just like in other RPG's. So the income is more than outcome.

The game is actually free, but at least in Project Entropia, it was hard to do anything without any real money.

Everyone who can't control their spending or have an addictive personality should stay away from this game.

Or you could lose your investment....in real life you could write that off as a capital loss, but I doubt that would fly if you spent it on a game.
