Dream #1:

Last night I had a dream that WWIII had occurred and there was an American Revolt. We ended up fighting ourselves and it kinda reminded me of Waterworld if anyone has seen it. That kind of clothes and guns... but we have land still. Maybe Wasteland... hmm...

Anyways, this dream brings up another dream (I have these a LOT). What if this did happen? Would we all try to form a community? Would the CTs set out to make a little community? Where would we try to make it at? What would each person do? I've always wanted to be a blacksmith myself. We could have our own CT lair, but for free xD

Hmmm, Someplace out of the way might be best, someplace with game to hunt or stores to loot canned goods from. I would hunt for food, I enjoy hunting and love the savage, primal feeling you get from a good kill.

Funny, I just watched Dr. Strangelove last night. The movie is correct in stating that in a post-apocalyptic world, it would be important to have more women than men. So we'd have a problem.

all ready kinda got something started like that in Co.......and yes, we are setting up a forge, and yes, i will be doing a LOT of hunting.........even plan on building a few 4 lb cannons and a few swivel guns (very much like falcs)

but its all current, and x military.....even have the land Razz

one of the things i will defiantly build, is a no shit ammo bunker.........this has 3 purposes, keep massive amounts of ammo out of the elements and safe from harm, re load ammo, and to brew beer and mead Razz

may also distill some rum, but that will be above ground. Razz

Where do you think would be a prime location to build something like that given on how far we'd all have to go to get there?

Some where in the Central/Southern area? Building something up North would be brutal with Winter

I'd say in the American west, near a steady water source, in the mountains. Lots of open land, good places to hide, near sources of fresh water. Just a little research would allow us to find the sweet spot that was the right altitude and the best year-round temperature. Not too cold in winter, not too hot in the summer. I'd go with the colder side - should be easy for us to hole up. Just not in a place that's prone to heavy snow / avalanches.
