*if this movie follows the plot of the comic books at all, (which I doubt since the other 2 didn't), there may be spoilers ahead*

bender, you silly, that's Symbiote Spidey, the black costume is an alien creature that JJJ's son brought back from the moon, peter's normal costume gets ripped, so he makes another one out of the symbiote, because at that time it had the qualities of cloth

anyway, over time as spidey wore it, the symbiote suit slowly merged with Peter's DNA, and it could effectively completely control his body as he slept, and, being that the symbiote is evil, it made Spiderman do evil things!

and when Spidey is finally able to rid himself of the symbiote for good, it finds a new host, in Eddie Brock, who hates Peter Parker for taking his reporting job at the Daily Bugle, thus Venom is born

at least, that's what happened in the comics

You guys have no idea how long I've been waiting for the Spiderman Movies to be made, let alone to see Venom.

It's true, Venom will be in Spiderman 3... maybe just a little. But it's mainly about Spiderman fighting the symbiote (according to sites which may not be true...).

Unfortunately, Hob Goblin won't be in this one *He's the one with the pumpkin gear*. But Green Goblin x2 will be in here.

I'm actually surprized... So far the Spiderman movies have actually been just like how the original characters came into play. Although, Venom came muucccchhhh later.

But like yea... Count summed it all up.

Gwen Stacy will also be in this one. Which means they can't do the whole fight with the green goblin over the brooklyn bridge scene again.

I dunno though, they're gonna ruin it SOMEHOW, they're gonna make Venom not be cool, like they made Green Goblin highly homosexual, Doc Ock didn't even have the correct accent, and did you see sandman in that trailer? he was gigantic, which should not be so, Sandman was normal sized, just looked as if he was really buff, I bet they make Venom small instead of a giant demon of deeaaaath

and how many times am I gonna have to say this? WHERE ARE THE COOL VILLAINS?! where's The Lizard (I remember Conners being in the 2nd one... but no Lizard), where's Rhino, where's Electro, where's Carnage, where's Mysterio?? you're telling me MYSTERIO wouldn't make GREAT movie fodder?! heck, I'd even like to see some stupid villain the Shocker or Craven the Hunter or The Vulture

I hated that Web Shoot crap... but it did effect Spiderman's ability to fight villians. Now all he has to be is quick and he'll never have to worry about his web.
