is there anything else besides fraps that you can use to record in game videos? Enfield what do you use?

I dunno what to tell you, srry man. Maybe try a program that isn't specifically designed for games but can capture them.

He doesnt want to use free version and hard to get pirated version because you gotta register it online.

Fraps runs like crap on less-powerful computers, but I don't see how any other program wouldn't.

I'm also looking for a decent recorder...the sound works in Fraps, but the video doesn't. I've tried compressing the videos and using VLC/Windows Media Player/Winamp and nothing works (and I have the full version).

well the verison i have 2.7.3 you have to. when you open it up it has 4 tabs, the first one has a register button then it redirects you to http://www.fraps.com/register273/ and you have to click buy fraps now. Maybe you have an older version that just requires a code i dont know. I dont use fraps free because it has a watermark, and it limits to 30 second clips only(it doesnt really bug me tho). It runs fine on my computer.
