you can probably just change thew one you have with no downtime....in the admin screen of your board, just make it to where an admin has to activate a user account instead of it being user activated Wink

Even at admin activation, they can still register and get their link URLs in the memberlist, which is what their main purpose seems to be. Nearly all of them never post, in fact most seem incapable of using user activation (likely due to a dormant, automated, or fake email), so admin activation would just be a hassle for legitimate users. The picture code thingy is probably the best way to go about it, though just deleting the one or two that register each day works too.
