Question of downloading stuff

Say Axe has no cash and wants to get a couple albums that are hard to find in stores, what would I use to find and get them? I know some of yall use stuff, but I don't know what.

I'd say LimeWire, but it probably won't work w/ any sort of firewall / modem / giant central hub, as say, what you would find at a university..

I used DC++ but i cant anymore find any files (reinstalled many times, doesnt help) But so long it worked i found everything i needed.
