I am currently at that location in the Islands, later today me, my father, and Frank Sulloway will be getting supplies for our backpacking trip in the unihabited area, nearly untouched by humans. I�ve got to get going, and this keyboard is a pain to type on with its Spanish format, or I�d giev some more info. See you guys (and hopefully a copy of BF2) when I get back on the 26th!

Well, I'm back from the first field trip. Yesterday our boat that was supposed to pick us up never showed, but luckily some of the PNG (Galapagos National Park, but a Spanish acronym) guys were patrolling for illegal fishing/hunting and stopped at the beach. Since we were with a sanctioned expedition from the Darwin station they agreed to come back and pick us up once they were done with their rounds.
Anyhow, it was really great, and I'm looking forward to a few more days of less intense day-trips to various areas (today we're going to Frigate Bird hill, the first place Darwin landed in the islands before departing to Santa Cruz Island to drop off water containers and check out the tortoises they keep there including Lonesome George, an 80-100 year old tortoise who is the last known tortoise from Pinto island.) and I am truly appreciating the creature comforts of beds, chairs, cold drinks, and hot food. I know BF2 is released today (or last I heard it was), so I hope you all have fun with it and let me know how it is once I get back (although I'll still be on 56k).
