Server crash?

Is the server down?, I have reports it is and cannot find it myself.

I don't know, when I was playing earlier I just got major connection problems and it just died on me, after that I don't know

We were playing Bloody Bayou and Tawxic used the runnext command to change the map. After that everyone got disconnected and the server disappeared.

I just joined it and it seems to work fine.

It's odd though. Xfire says it's running Bloody Bayou with 9 people, even though it's actually running azure seas.

I guess those 9 would be us who were playing when it died, our ghosts are playing on!

According to the log, the server crashed attempting to change map to Tortuga. The map runs fine now though and nothing else seems broken. Probably a case of the server running too long without a restart; I'll schedule it to restart itself occasionally.

It does take some time to update on Xfire, especially if you don't manually refresh it. Not sure why yet; might be another port I need to forward or something. If anyone knows something about Xfire and ports and such it'd be great. Smile

whaddaya know, he actually did it too!

Fixed

But yeah, I don't think it's that big of a problem, more than half of the people playing were CT's or people who are good friends of CT, So they would have figured out something's up with the server and will be fixed in no time.

I definitely pressed refresh several times though. It's very strange.

I just set it to restart itself every morning promptly at 8 o'clock Eastern.

Dunno what I can do about Xfire, in fact it seems to stay updated better now.
