Hello my friends!!! I am still alive. I apologize for not being in game or on TS but all zombied out.

I have been pulld to the dark side of MAPPING! A couple peeps have seen my first creation and helped test it. Special kudos to Wang for the testing AND technical support. Mug Toast

I will give the map to Forn later tonight probably. Hopefully he will consider it for BFPiratesevents. The map might be cool or fizzle (TOO grand) but its ok as it was really just me learning. Anyway, testing helped greatly and I am now super cool down with mapping. I have concepts for several more maps, and more playable maps, in my head already. YAY!

I am going to pick up a sound card tonight too. I TOTALLY screwed up my sound last night trying to fix it. BF2 did something awful during the BF2 install. My system went bezerk and literally burned out my audio card. Sad

Those bastages...

Whoa whoa whoa, no need to do this! Try uninstalling all of the drivers and reinstalling them, and setting every sound option to default. Maybe.

Glad to be such a big help to you and your mapping endeavours. It's fun shit ain't it? It's great to vent out your creative side. I get tired of doing computer stuff every now and then and like to flex out my right brain hemisphere by doing some artistic stuff, and mapping is great for those who aren't naturally artistic. It's a good form of art because it's easy to undo your mistakes and you can perfect things using numbers. You still have a lot to learn, my young padawan Smile

So far, so good though.

Nice tank ya got there, Chocula. Farther than I ever got in GMAX.

I'm able to make maps... BUT, i'm having major trouble making it a BFP map. Apparently, I have to move my BF1942 and Battlecraft folder to the original directory. Right now, it's in my Extra hard drive so I wouldn't mess up with my performance too much... since it's not there, I can't make BFP maps. But I'm still able to make BF1942 maps... and I haven't tried any other mods to see if I could use that as well.
