At exactly 2:22 AM, my brain kicks on full auto as if I had been awake the entire time. For about 30 mins of trying to sleep, I finally give in and get up. I begin looking for something to do in effort to get myself tired. I head to my computer room and what's the very first thing I find? A book.

Like OMG! Stealth reading?!?! That's just NOT RIGHT!!! I haven't even touched a book voluntarily in a long time. But this book was a bit... different from what I was expecting. At the time, I felt it would just bore me to death, but I picked it up. The foreword was a bit boring and the first chapter too, but after that... OMG!!!!

Props to anyone who can guess what I'm reading.

Life is not the way most teenagers want it because teens are nt the most powerful people in your world, and your world is presently being created by the most powerful people among you. And for the most part those members are members of the older generation. And not all of them, only a tiny percent of them.

I know, I know! That's the Problem!

When you decide as a species that it will no longer be that way, then it will no longer be that way.

Teenagers are not gonna take over the world, and in truth, you really don't want them to. It takes the combined wisdom of all ages to make kind of world in which you wish to live--a well rounded worldwith different points of view, filled with people of different experiences, offering everyone the fun and excitement of creating jointly acceptable of
outcomes of different starting places.
So no, Teens are not going to take over the world. But in years to come all people will have more to say about their lives and their future, if this is the way you want it.

Really. The reason that the tiny percentage of the people control the largest portion of people is because the largest portion allows them to.

How can they stop it from happening, when the smaller number of the people have ALL the power?

Power is something that is given. It cannot be taken. And it is given away because those that give it away, think they're powerless. The irony is they are powerless because they gave their power away. In truth, they have all the power they want. They simply don't want it.

Yeah, teenagers have all the power they want, they just don't want it. Right...

It's true. Think about it for a moment. The power that your parents have over you is the power that YOU gave them. If you didn't want to give them your power, they would have none. If you did not want to do something they told you to do, and didn't do it, there's nothing they really can do about it.

The reason why teenagers give their parents power is because it's for something they want. This could be anything such as love, a roof, clothes, food, a car or anything at all.

As soon as you no longer want what your parents have, or no longer need it, your parents have lost complete control over you. In the meantime, your simply using your behavior (in this case, your obedience to your parents) to get what you want. This is one exercise of power.

It sounds like manipulation to me.

That's just one of the examples from the book and it's CRAZY. He asks questions and then answers them using logic.

It's actually called, "Conversations with God *for teens*" by Neale Donald Walsch

It's about this guy who went out and asked Teens about life's questions. Everything in bold, was a kid asking that exact question. In the end, it produced some MAJOR results. Some in which were just so freakin' awesome that I was drooling! 0.0

With no logic, there's no way in the world this book will make any sense to you.

errr... in no way was I trying to steer down that road again. I'm pointing out a good book, but not really the book, more of the fact I read. Ask milkz0rz. He's never seen a book lay around my house in the open like that.
