Doug Flutie - The man, the legend, the pooch-kick

The fact that the Pats lost today didn't really matter all that much, and if anything I doubt anyone could notice after what may be Doug Fluties last play in football, and definitely earning him a spot in the books!

During the one play that he was in (the extra point conversion) he completed the first successful dropkick since 1941.

Also noteworthy: It was probably the first time Pats Coach Bill Belichick has broken out in a smile before a game has ended since... ever.

I'd also like to point out in the most heterosexual way possible that Flutie is looking DAMNED good for a 43 year old.

I saw it during the game, Flutie has always been one of my favorite QBs, nothing like a little undersized runt making the most out of hwat he has. The game will miss him.

And it was just a kick Sprite, but he bounced it on the ground really fast at first, so a video won't do too much for you, try espn if you can.

Now it was sort of like a punt, he bounced the ball off the ground and kicked it when it bounced back up. That is very hard to do as you know because footballs bouce funny.
