I love that game, no monthly fees and damn good graphics. Only bad thing in it is u cant jump.

God whats up with MMORPGS, theyre all the same!

THE PROCESS

1.You be called a n00b 2. You realise that level 5 is pathetic and start to level up till 2 AM in the morning. 3.You show off with your "magical enchanted armor" that costs "500k". 4.Then you find out that all your countless hours of hard work were just for a virtual game. 5. Some dude steals your password, your busted, teh end. 6. Repeat this process with every MMORPG.

Great game. Only problem is that i hate the pve part, but i love the pvp in it!

Its so damn fun with good team. The tactics, making fast strats based on what enemy team has. Usually both teams are waiting for first move, or so called "first mistake", if one guy goes solo, hes dead in 10 secs.

I love how the game is balanced. I get killed by the warriors, but same time i can kill them easily. Its all based what tactic you use and how good is your enemy.
No whiners how the other class is "too powerfull". You get killed by every class, if the player is good.

Graphics are damn good and it runs so smooth! No slowdowns or lag at all!

Yes.

Is it Online?
Yes.

Is it a roleplaying game?
Yes.

If thats the process for you in MMORPGs, well, youre just playing the wrong ones.
I have played Ultima Online for almost 8 years now I believe (half the time on free servers).
I dont care about items, I dont care about gold, I dont care about levels (Ignoring the fact that UO doesnt have levels).
If you arent having fun BEFORE you get to the max level and have the best armor, you wont have fun AFTER you get it either.
When you've only played 5 MMORPGs, you cant even comment on "all".

If you got your account stolen its because you did something stupid and they got your password.
If you dont tell anyone your password, and dont make it someting painfully obvious, it wont be stolen.
Not once in all the years I've used the internet have I had even 1 password stolen.

Guild Wars is not a traditional MMORPG.
In most of them, the entire world is one big area everyone shares.
In Guild Wars the second you leave town it is an instanced zone.
Instanced means only you, or anyone you are grouped with, are in the area.
You will not see anyone outside town unless they are in a group with you.
It is more like Diablo 2 than it is to, say, World of Warcraft.

Gotta agree though, Guild Wars is all but perfect when it comes to balancing.
You can do any combo you want and if you play it right, you can go up against anything.
There really is no best class.
The graphics are also some of the best I've seen in a long time too.
They look great and you dont need a super computer to see them.

Gah these MMORPG topics do to me what LKG topics did to Capn Sparrow!
Make posts 10 times longer than normal...

don't generalize about MMOs, it just makes you look like a COMPLETE idiot.

also , guild wars is not a MMORPG, it's a CORPG, cooperative online RPG.

I was here to express an opinion. "MMORPG's are all the same and they suck", you cant quote that because I never said it. If an opinion makes me look like an ass, then what will make me not look like one? Guess I'll leave this thread alone then. It seems that its becoming a flamewar.
