ya i bought the same card, got it installed yesterday
it'll play bf2 if thats what you want

and is the verifying client stuff gonna like be faster in the future with time and activity or is it always gonna be that long?

I remember the morning i bought it for Supa when i was out early. When i got it we were so exited to see it online. Yeah....then we saw it online. Ish. Half-Life 2 is still a bigger dissappontment the first day, but that worked out after the initial wait. EA needs to work on their server programming, or just plain fire the guys they have and recruit. It's sad when gamers in the community can do a better job than the freaks at the "Evil Empire". I was so hoping that they wouldn't patch it 10 times like BF42. I see much suffering in the future on the part of gamers. Mad
