I think they would of found him gulity if there was more evidence. The mother of the boy kept changing her story I guess, and wasn't "believeable" on the stand so I think that influcened the jury's decsion.

If it was any normal man, they would have been sent to a mental institution. If Michael Jackson wasn't a famous artist and just a normal person, he would have been found guility. He would also have been put in a mental asylum a long time ago. The man thinks he's a child forchristsake. I believe that is an act anyway, he doesn't act like a child when he's up on stage performing, does he? His innocent childlike attitude disappears. I think he made that up to try and give some pathetic excuse for the sick acts I believe he commited.

But, Michael Jackson is a celebrity. And it is purely because of this that he was found innocent. Any other person wouldn't have been.

Half the jury were Michael Jackson fans as well, which I find ridiculous. They spend so long doing jury selection to find an impartial jury. And they go and pick Jackson fans. That is absolutely ludicrous.

At the end of the day. This is a man who we know for a fact slept in the same bed as children. Any normal person would be labelled "sick" and police would send them to prison. But no, Michael Jackson can do whatever the hell he likes. We also have good reason to believe he showed pornographic material to children, as well as giving alchohol to very young children. Which is simply not right.

To sum up. If Michael Jackson was a normal person, living a normal life. He would be in a prison, or mental institution right now. I can guarentee that. All this case shows is that celebrities can get away with anything simply because they are famous.

Sorry to the Michael Jackson fans around but I found this hilarious...

Who knows - we are all victims of sensationalized media. None of US have all the facts.

I cant imagine the jurors would take ANY child molestation accusations lightly - no matter who it was. I suspect that if any of us were there we would have gone the same way if we saw the same facts. Winning over a jury of 12 individuals for this guy and this stuff could not have been easy...

Maybe it was a success for the system - over our own preconceptions. Maybe the guy really is a harmless freak that we would all prefer banned from common society? i have seen bad stuff about MJ but today the bad stuff (accurate or not) is what makes media media interesting. Rolling Eyes

Just playing devils advocate and offering up some food for thought. Very Happy

I agree completely. If it was a unanimous agreement among jurors, the media really skewed our perceptions of jacko.

I can't really judge Jackson or the jury unless I was faced with all the evidence myself. Plus, I haven't really followed the trial because I think it had too much attention and hype.
