Theres this comapany called Speed Trees. Basically the're making a program for game companies to use so they can make the "forests of tomorrow" for games. At their site they let you DL this demo, which allows you to go through some of the forests their program has made. You can let the camera or youself contorl everything, or you can just fly a heli. Theres really not that much to do, but if your vid card can support it, I really suggest just takeing a look. I've only gone through one forests as of now, and I'll admit it was pretty cool. Theres no fog or anything to let you see only so far, so it look real. Anyway heres the site: http://www.speedtree.com/ Even if you cant use the demo, they have pics and a movie I think.

BTW The game I'm most looking forward to (Oblivion) is using this as well. But you can see all the games that are going to be using this too.

Dont really worry about it. My computer isnt the best, but I'm able to run it on high settings. Anyway, I took some screenies of the Vietnamese Jungle one.

The heli flys around the map. Theres usually something differnt in each map. Theres one map thats like on some other planet or something, and instead of a heli its a eyeball with tenticles. To fly the chopper, just press 3 on the keyboard, then control it with the arrow keys. Theres more controls, so press F1 to see them all.

i had 2 demos but for the life of me i could not figure out how to run them
i did not see and exe or anything, just folders
