it took a day or 2 to get used to, but i switched from my MS intillimouse explorer 3 (not the one with the tilt wheel) to a logitech mx518 & it friggin OWNS!!!! (ask brutus)

it has on the fly sensitivity adjustments for 400/800/1600 dpi--- what this means = if i set the mose sensitivity in BF low, i can snipe with pinpoint accuracy without bein all bouncy... and when taw & brutus come to ruin my fun, one touch of the lil button above the wheel & im ready to cut those fools a new one... ever since the night i brought this home ive had brutus's number (i bet hell make some excuses, but its my mouse)

if anyone is mulling over what mouse to buy, get this one, its hands down the best gaming mouse ou there right now (pc gamer even said so, its rated higher than the diamondback razer, which also has on the fly adjustments)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16826104178

out of the 37 reviews, all gave it 5 out of 5 eggs & there are 72 votes total, average is 5... a perfect score from ppl using it... the reviewers even say that theyve switched from the 510's (same mouse, but no on the fly sensitivity adjust) & these are smoother & just all around better

on second thought... NO ONE BUY THIS MOUSE!!!! ITS A PIECE OF SHIT & I HATE IT!!!!!!

there... now i can own in peace Razz

I never really thought I would be interested in buying such a mouse, but I now realize how important a quick sensitivity change is. I'm a beast when I turn sensitivity way down and snipe, but then I can't hit anything up close ... vice versa with high sensitivity.

It occured to me how beastly it would be if I were to make a keybinding to swap sensitivity values. This is possible with the HL engine, but I'm not sure about the BF42 engine. This is the better solution either way.

Perhaps I'll be looking for one.

Filthy? yes!

Sensitivity control? no... Wink

HOWEVER! There is software that comes with the mouse that can control sensitivity. So... I would assume that you could use some macro to adjust the sensitivity. Would it be fast enough??? I have to many buttons to keep track of already... Rolling Eyes

Right now I'm using my dad's intellipoint mouse (MS, and it feels so smooth. It's not just the fresh cloth pad, but I notice that I can skew the mouse without restriction. I can cock it to the left from like 15-35 degrees depending on how i feel. It's A LOT more natural that way.
