im bored out of my fucking skull waiting for steam to update so i can play hl2... so i thought id take the time to make an official thread to flame steam & its creators.... sorry gabe, u fucked up on this one....

OMFG I hate steam...

It took me three tries to load HL2. I THINK the third time it worked because I had Steam running - though I might have had it running before too. ??? Now I am about to relaod my hard drive with XP OS. HOPEFULLY HL2 loads a little easier this time - though i can forsee ALL kinds of identity issues and reload problems... Evil or Very Mad

I downloaded 30 mins Counter Strike patch and just near finishing, Steam message came "we are sorry, but Steam is busy to handle your reguest, please try again later".

My friend had problems to install HL2, because of Steam(he doesnt have Net). And we had to install it 5 TIMES to get it work offline mode.
Well it doesnt matter i got his cd key, so i got HL2 free!

I HATE steam, I had my friends copy of CS(the origina 1) When I went to steam I entered in a cd key that i had found, and it worked, but when i went to re-connect to steam they banned me.....

WTF is w/ that.

Issues are starting to arise with me. I am running into busy servers, long download times and on any of the original half life mods, I can't join multiplayer games. It gets to about 3 bars in the connection and then times out.

I hope they fix that...

This install went much better for me. Takes FOREVER though...

I downloaded Wasteland for HL2 but couldn't get it to run or find servers. Anyone goy ideas on trying HL2 Wasteland??? It looks cool!
