This is the game I've waited twenty years for.

Apparently, the screen on the Wii U's controller will operate like the USCM motion tracker from Aliens, making that version of the game the most definitive. I'll still get the PC one anyway. In my experience, when you're surrounded by carnivorous alien creatures, the ability to turn around quickly and shoot precisely is not a secondary concern.

I'm confuced. Is Wiiu Nintendo DS succesor or their new console that has DS like touchpad in it? And does that controller with screen show the actual game but with smaller screen or is it same kind of menu system as in DS?

The Wii U is the next main console. The screen on the controller is supplementary to what you see on the TV. It will make the system operate with the sensibilities of the DS, though. I know developers are already excited to use the touch screen for a variety of things like minimaps, inventories, and weapon selection screens that won't interfere with the gameplay on the main screen.

Imagine a FPS where you have all of your equipment options listed on the touch screen and you simply tap the weapon or item you want to equip. Used properly, the screen could be used to drastically lighten the load on the controller in terms of how many buttons it needs. One of the most tantalizing options is the ability to have multiplayer without splitting the screen since everyone has his own view to begin with.
