Windows Live Movie Maker won't import sound.

So I recorded my cast via FRAPS and want to render it in movie maker, however it did not import the sounds. I see the picture and it is fine but I can't seem to get the sound I recorded to come out, anyone know a fix?

Yeah, I can open the .avi and hear myself talking.

Its probably the codec you used. You can either convert it into a different file or try a different video editing program.

Go to the"project" tab and make sure the slider for audio mix is either in the middle or slid all the way over to the movie side. It might be set to just play audio from a music file and not a video clip...

Yeah, so its grayed out for some reason. No idea why, anyone know of a better (sure it wont be hard) software?

Sony Vegas. Smaller in file size than most and its still amazing. Not only that but its simple and easy.
