Even on egypt 3 part 2 they can only cover one door, and having lots of snipers is risky because every missed shot could cost your team

2 doors, hallway and bottom exit can both be covered by two snipers

They can't cover the gate well though, an uber can come out of there (preferably pyro on that one, heavy and demo are good too) and the rest of the team just follows in wrecking havok. The snipers can only covre the bottom doors very well, they can only cover the gate by being at the vulnerable point by the boxes across from the gate

Well yeah, but it still is kind of ridiculous how the machinas threat of 1-shot body shot forced medics to go one way, which leaves 2 demos or even an enemy uber to counter it by going into the side gate.

It just adds to the importance of controlling that area. Still think that gun should be nerfed though, it should only be able to fire at 100% charge or it should be scoped 100% of the time its out. Either of those would balance it IMO, option 1 makes them vulnerable to counter snipers and option 2 makes em super vulnerable to flanking

I say just get rid of that damage bonus, or increase the charge time(30%)

Hear hear! I like to see the original incarnations of the most important weapons for a class retain usefulness. After all, if the Quick Fix gave the health boost as well as its current perks, it would be too overpowered.

I'd line up on opposition to see how many ppl it could go thru - we'd have to get the entire server to cooperate but I think it would be very interesting to find out.

Didn't the Ambassador also do that when they first added it? I think I remember videos of using that on lines of people.
