If you ever saw the movie The Mummy (w/ Branden Frasier) that fucking wall of dirt hit us yesterday...well, no mummies though thankfully. It was dusk and when this thing hit - it immediately looked like midnight with a slight brown twang - 60MPH winds tore some shit up too. All fucking day today the air has been full of dirt - like smog but tan.

Yes - I think I heard it was between 5 and 7000 feet, reducing to 3500 feet by the time it got to the mid city...still higher than the local mountains by far.

2011 has been pretty unique in its harsh weather conditions. Did you guys know that Minnesota got a few inches of freezing rain with hurricane force winds in the middle of January? Natural disasters this year are leaps and bounds worse than usual everywhere.
