Here's an interesting article about recent generation gaps, that oddly enough I can relate to. Even though I don't text a great amount, I'm right in that category (as I'm sure many CTs are) that IMing and texting has become a main route of communication. I mean I feel as if I know most of you, yet we've only talked via IM and Vent (or webcam sex for mikesty and I)

Then again, I enjoy live convos best.

hmm.........i dont think i fall under much of that.....i am a gamer, i have owned my own phone for years, never text, hell, only thing i use the damn thing for aside from as a phone is to see what the date is, or to use the calculator function on it

as far as the rest of it, its mostly hit or miss......guess im just the odd man out

I've always taken it to mean the "average" of the 24-18 year old section or the 16-10 section and so on. Yes, it's a continuum, but you can get a general feel for how things change.

I actually find that the generation cutoff makes sense alot of the time. I'm technically in the last month of the last year of Generation X (Rock on!) and I have so little in common personality-wise with people even a year younger than me.
