I think we had a little bit of a discussion like this in a different thread, which probably sent the train completely off-topic. Anyone here like to cook or bake? If so, what's your specialty?

I only bring this up because I've got a batch of cookies in the oven right now, and I'm constantly looking for unique choc. chip cookie recipes.

I've also pretty much perfected the art of a multi-cheese/meat omelete. One egg (hard to flip, but easy to eat) or three (nearly impossible to eat in one seating) I've got em all Smile

I really enjoying baking. My favorite recipe is banana bread.

As far as chocolate chip cookies go, let's just say that the Toll House recipe is the premier recipe for a reason.

mmm brownies...

I cook the general college student's assortment plus some family favotites. Hamburger helper keeps me fed about two nights a week, otherwise it's a deer or pasta combination, maybe some river fish. Pleanty of veggies (generally canned) and mashed potatoes are also nice. Rice is good as fuck too, and doesn't take that long.

Barbeque chicken or any other form of meat is my specialty with some Lawry's steak salt.

ooo that just reminded me of an old favorite; Kraft macaroni, ketchup, and a ton of cayenne pepper. Yum! I'd eat the whole tub...

ew.

I've found macroni is the best when you make it yourself and then bake it in the oven. Add a few different kinds of cheese and seasoning, put some bread crumbs on top and let it crisp. Mmmmm.
