Has anyone played the Sam & Max games? What kind of games are they, some point and click adventures? Are they worthy to play?

There seems to be a lot of episodes in that package, but all that bunny and dog thing look's kinda homo.

For 15 euros you'll get more than your money's worth. I'd definitely buy the games now if I didn't own them already.

Telltale Games single-handedly started the second coming of point and click adventure games with the new Sam & Max games. But to put it short, if you enjoy classic Sierra and Lucasarts adventure games, you'll enjoy Sam & Max.

I personally wouldn't start with the free episode as it's the third in the season and you don't get half of the jokes if you haven't played the first two.

I've averaged over 5 hours a day on Burnout since installing it. It's starting to affect my dreams and all I see when I close my eyes are things like oncoming headlights and boring crap like highway underpasses. Smile

Would be interested if it wasn't D2D. I don't want to support a service that doesn't let me take part in half of their sales because of stupid area restrictions.

Mount & Blade 85% off.

Are there some top mods that any of you would recommend? Does it have multiplayer added to it after release?

Europa Uiversalis 3 complete 75% off, Fallout 3(EU area) 50% off, Devil May Cry 4 50% off, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising 50% off, Dirt 2 50% off, Fort Zombie 75% off

And Stalker call of Pripyat at discount price if you own any Stalker game on your Steam. I saw 10€ drop, which is really nice price for a new Stalker game.

I am part of that mod team. It is progressing nicely. Total conversion, tons of new art, lots of new features including skeletons (trolls, dwarves, warg, orc sizes...), animations, effects, etc.

Alpha testing has been going on for a couple months, art and features are still being added. Hopefully just a a few more months. It has been a multi-year project...

Same game on Games for Windows Live 75%, 12,50$ http://www.microsoft.com/games/en-us/GAMES/Pages/batmanarkhamasylum.aspx

Played the demo yesterday, was suprised by it. Good flow and extremely simple to play, which is a good thing because you won't need super fingers to play this one.

Drunken Monkey:  doing well, been building a hobby ranch of my own, got married, no kids, only dogs, sheep and a horse

Comradekil:  so anyway, i wonder how everyone's lives all progressed.. who's in jail? who's grandparents now.. ha life
Drunken Monkey:  and yes....i do miss 1942 aswell, i honestly think it is what drove me to get a M1 garand in real live, and is still my most used rifle
Drunken Monkey:  bots are getting silly
Comradekil:  Sup dudes
Messy Recipe:  the BAR-1918 always felt so good in that game
Messy Recipe:  I miss vanilla 1942 as much as Pirates... need to see if the Origin version (or even original) still has anyone playing sometime
Stealth:  Hello all! Head to the lounge and post a memory!
Stealth:  I saw a BF1942 fraps video of a guy jumping out of a plane and RPG'd another plane. I immediately came here for nostalgia. Miss you all.
Messy Recipe:  I've not tried Sea of Thieves... kinda was bummed to learn its servers don't allow many simultaneous players. gimme 32v32 galleon fights

Drunken Monkey:  merry Christmas you lot
[BB]Piccolo:  Anybody playing Sea of Thieves?
[BB]Piccolo:  I'm amazed I actually still knew my login. We Black Buccaneers certainly had a special relationship with you Cut Throats. Nothing like a fierce rivalry to make the battlefield exciting, eh? :)
