If you have been thinking about getting it for the PC, this weekend it's available on steam for $25. At half price, definitely worth it. I'm always looking for people I know to play.

I hear it's incredibly short. Is the replay value for multiplayer still good?

Too bad this, like every other Valve game, has the CS community playing it.

The multiplayer coop has good replay value, mostly because the game does such a good job of randomizing where it throws the tough shit at you. Also, playing as the infected is REALLY neat. There's a sick pleasure in vomitting all over someone and watching a horde of zombies rush to tear them apart. Plus, valve is releasing an SDK, new game mode, and conceivably more official maps. That will help pad the content pretty well.

I have the game, I agree w/ small replay value. The randomizer is cool, but 8 campaigns instead of 4 would have been worth the $50.

You can complete the campaigns on expert mode in <8 hours with friends.

I bought this late Sunday before the $25 deal ended. Only played through one of the campaigns, and only once and in single player, but it was great fun. Got to find my way to the top of a hospital that was overrun by zombies, for a chopper pickup. Very Happy

I imagine it's even more fun in multiplayer.

The graffiti on the walls is great; it's like a substitute for internet forums:
