I don't drink. That being said, when I do, it's not enough to do anything. A beer here, a cup of sake there, 12 shots of jeager...

I like to drink dark beer. Since moving to Montana I've discovered the glory of dark, thick beer from the local brewery's in the Gallatin valley. My favorite is called Moose Drool, dark as fuck and has kick. I also like to drink Mexican beers.

I steer clear of hard alcohol unless its tequila, everclear in jello or just about any mixed drink.

One exception - even free pilsners are just shit. I can have 1 good dark beer and enjoy that more than most people can enjoy a case of {insert whatever crap cheap beer here (Bud)}. I gave up liquor looong ago - long story.

I had a Samuel Adams Winter Lager last night...mmmm. One will do, 2 at most.

Now combine a nice amber (Tilted Kilt for example) with a rich cigar, sitting on the patio with a cool breeze, tunes, dog at my feet, scent of garlicy-something cooking in the kitchen floating gently in the evening air - that's nirvana for me.

I am the same way, a good dark brew will always beat a score of the light stuff. Nothing like a good dark beer, with those you can drink them as Europeans do, warm. You cannot drink a domestic light beer warm at all.

I've been drinking a lot more with coworkers lately. We hit up the local microbrewery saturday. They had a pretty good pale ale, stout and a rauchbier that smelled like bacon (no joke). Had some tequila and a blue moon last night for school spirit since my college basketball team trounced our archrivals, and split a bottle of cheap champagne with dinner, but that's not typical.

I actually thought we'd have more people on the bottom of the poll. This is an interesting turnout.

That's how I felt, but then I thought about it - I think most of us spend time gaming socially INSTEAD OF drinking socially. Myself, Nugget, Sprite / whoever else throws down at college do both I guess but I kind of enjoy that about CT.
