Brake Failure!

OK, driving home in my son's Jeep no biggie, go to brake (thankfully not a hard brake) and the pedal goes all the way to the floor - holy shit! I quickly fumbled for the emergency brake, and was able to stop in time, barely.

So just a reminder, the emergency brake is there for a reason...well, complete brake failure is an emergency, so it needs to be accessible. His had so much crap around both sides (its between the seats in the console) tools, pens, receipts, etc. that I nearly couldn't get my paw around it in time.

Needless to say it's spick and span now, nary a hair near it - and ready if need be.

I would have failed. Epicly. My emergency break requires a very hard tug to budge it.

i use emergeny brake when parking. Mine was clear. Fortunately never needd it.
