It's the end of the year again, folks. It's time to look back on the movies we all went to this year and discuss what we felt was the most enjoyable film and the biggest disgrace to the medium.

Best - Iron Man

Worst - Max Payne

The Dark Knight was great and all, but I just don't think it can be watched by as many people as many times as Iron Man. It was a tough choice. As for Max Payne, it's the biggest disappointment for me this year. I waited a long time for it and it bored the living hell out of me while ignoring the source material. Double whammy.

Blasphemy.

Best - The Dark Knight. Talk about sticking to source material. I could write essays upon the awesomeness of TDK.

Worst - X-Files: I Want to Believe. I didnt see a lot of new films this year with school being so hectic, so I missed out on Max Payne. But all through X-Files 2 I was expecting the story to turn and take the sci-fi route. How dare I think so, its only X-files, right? It was the worst episode of x-files ever. It was such a pile of disappointment that I felt so betrayed at the end. There were episodes of the series that actually creeped me out when I was younger. But this film hardly peeked any nature of science fiction. Even if it wasnt x-files it would have been disappointing. There were so many places they could have gone. Explain moulders sister for gods sake!

Runners up for best: Iron Man - I love the plans for the franchise and for the Avengers film. It was much more audience friendly than TDK, but I dont give a shit. xD

Step Brothers - havent laughed so hard in a long time. Hits my humor perfect. I watched it twice in a row with my brother.

Tropic Thunder - Pretty epic for a comedy. And hilarious.

I loved Batman, but my favorite movie of 2008?

BURN AFTER READING. If you are a fan of the Coen brothers, this movie is pure sadistic comedy gold.

Worst movie of 2008? Shoot em up, though there was something positively satisfying about all the times he saved the day using a carrot.

Burn After Reading sucked. I got the sadistic comedy aspect, but it was pretty dry.

Absolutely. Not the best Coen brothers film, but certainly great.

That being said, I'd have to say my favorite comedy movie of 2008 was Role Models. It had all the elements, boobs, KISS, a little black kid, AND LARPing!

Best: Pineapple Express (Yes I was stoned when I saw it)

Worst: eh I don't know, I try not to see movies I will not enjoy

By the way, the new Metallica album was pretty sweet as far as music goes, while I was disappointed with the new Judas Priest album.

Like the DVD commercial says, it is better on your couch, that way you don't have to come down if you have enough good stuff.

Dark Knight was the best.

Worst? Not sure. I saw more kids movies than anything.

Drunken Monkey:  bots are getting silly
Comradekil:  Sup dudes
Messy Recipe:  the BAR-1918 always felt so good in that game
Messy Recipe:  I miss vanilla 1942 as much as Pirates... need to see if the Origin version (or even original) still has anyone playing sometime
