my old card has been artifacting for a while now so i think its time for a new one. im not sure whether a 512mb or a 1gb card. what do you guys think about the following cards...

I would shell out few more bucks and buy the Palit Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3

Looks like a good card, but im trying to stay away from the cards that take two slots since id have to take out my tv tuner card in that case. Just found this card and i think im gonna pick it up

What kind of case do you have? A 9800 GT is going to put out a nice amount of heat, and the single slot leaves it in the case. Might be a problem in a cramped case. Also, is your power supply up to it?

i just replaced my 375 watt with a 650 watt corsair psu, and my case is the standard case of a dell xps 410

So looking on the internets: A:Your motherboard is upside down B: your tuner is in the PCIe 1x slot on top C: your graphics card is below that with the fan facing up, right?

my motherboard is on its side with the tv tuner in the highest slot followed by the video card next to it. The picture is kinda backwards but you'll get the point

Why don't you move the tuner card to the 8x slot on the back side of the video card, out of the way of the fan?
