I caught the new Dark Knight trailer at I Am Legend too. This is the quintessential Joker in this movie. They aren't dumbing down or sweetening up the fact that he's a sadistic murderer in clown makeup. They make him look a hell of alot more sociopathic and derranged, which is exactly what needed to be done. I'm stoked beyond words.

Jack Nicholson looked like a man in drag half the time. He was never very scary either, and all he had was a bunch of one-liners. Heath Ledger you actually believe is insane! His laugh is WAY better too.
