I've been finding tons of lists of worst movie lists on different entertainment sites lately. Frankly, I haven't been satisfied with any of them. Yahoo's have been especially ignorant. That's why I'm asking you guys to help me clarify things a bit. There are some serious cinematic suppositories out there that have been overlooked by the critics. I just want to see what you guys think the worst sequels of all time are.
First, let's lay down some ground rules
-Only name 3 movies
-Once a movie is named on a list, noone else can list it
I'll get the ball rolling
Highlander 2: The Quickening
The Lost World: Jurassic Park
XXX: State of the Union
There are many movies which deserve my third spot, but i had to mention XXX2 because it's the reason I made this list exercise. I watched the first 20 minutes last night and laughed harder at that than I did at Wedding Crashers. I knew it would be godawful, but it's hard to believe that an action movie sequel starring Ice Cube could actually be shittier than I expected. It's not a wonder Vin Diesel turned that one down. What would be a career destroyer for anyone else is a paycheck for Ice Cube. I liken his history of acting jobs to a dog finding dead animals and rolling in them. Also, this movie had two rappers in it. This breaks one of the cardinal rules of making good movies: only one rapper or pro wrestler in a movie at a time. One of each can work, as seen in Gridiron Gang, but not two of the same. Anyway, I'm ranting and I know it. I'll leave the floor open for discussion.

I'm gonna make my list with the assumption that we're judging the sequels by comparing them with their predecessors, in which case I'm going with the three sequels I was most disappointed with:
TMNT III
Spiderman 3
Rocky V _________________

Wow - tougher than I thought....but on a disappointment level, I'd have to go with:
THE MATRIX RELOADED
CADDYSHACK II (still want that 90 minutes back)
CONAN THE DESTROYER _________________

movies suck by definition. So play video games.
After watching one sucky movie, I never watch it's sequel - let alone 3rd, 4th etc... _________________

TMNT and Spiderman owns. No matter what. For whatever ranking you currently had on my people's ranking list, you just went down a million slots. =D
And I'm too tired to think. I'll try to do it later _________________ Motherfucking Triangles! Being all three sided n' shit, who do they think they are?!

Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace
Dumb and Dumberer
Home Alone 3
I had another, but I can't remember it now...
All three of these movies are pretty much unwatchable. I've tried to make it through li'l Ani and Jar Jar's chucklefest recently during our houses Star Wars drinking game and Ep I made me want to take some Everclear to the face just to end the pain of being conscious while it was on. The other two are completely shameless cash grabs with no-name actors in one case taking over roles that were good for Carey and Daniels, and completely different characters and actors in the case of HA3. Two of the least amusing "comedies" ever.

I watched parts of Spiderman 3 with my son. I LOVED the part where he had to decide between saving his girlfriend OR the trainfull of cub scouts!
But then, instead of making it a real dilema (like we ALL face as real people) he is so fucking cool he saves both her AND the train?!?!?!?!?!
BULLSHIT!!! This gives us no insight into him as a person (hero or otherwise) and thus ruined what was ALMOST a moment of true movie "drama".
So more bullshit movies and special effects with no connection to us as real people. Give me a shooter game. The special effects are more compelling and Ill bring the drama. _________________

pfft, the kids of course!
Then I could upgrade the girlfriend unit with all the fresh press and sympathy for losing my beloved girlfriend. Maybe meet some grateful MILFs too.
And besides, if you save the girl she'd probably be like, "thanks, but OMG you let all those kids die! You are a loser, and a liar and I knew it WAS always just about sex!" Or something like that because of her own guilt for getting picked over the kids...
See? Easy. Win/win or lose/lose. With such an obvious choice even that barely qualifies as drama.
How is that for character insight? Im so proud. _________________

Nice catch! This was definitely the one I forgot as I was making my list. Completely ruined the themes of the first two movies.

One of mine would be Too Fast Too Furious Tokyo Drift. I know the first one was horrible, but atleast it was watchable(I like Vin Diesel ). But Tokyo Drift was full of shit, bad actors, overly "manliness" attidude and an idiot texas boy with annoing "fuck off" accent. Even the chicks weren't hot. _________________
