If this is actually a good quality product, I may get it. But it seems unlikely that they can put so much stuff into one unit and price it so lowly. Has anybody even heard of this brand?

never heard of the brand. I would definately hold out and go for higher megapixels. The one I have is 5.0, and from 20 ft away, you saw the quality of the pictures I posted...and I have a kodak. Not so sure about this one.

Those pictures of mexico I posted a while back were taken with a three megapixel camera that couldn't hold a charge. I would love to upgrade to a rebel xt, but its way out of budget and this camera is cheap enough and has quite a few features.

Its not really the quality of pictures I am concerned about, its the quality of the product.

Well its a camera. If it takes crappy pictures, doesn't that make it a crappy camera?
