Just released Defcon(through Steam) is and RTS game that puts you right into tactical nuke-war.

I just played the demo and holy shit is it sweet. Gameplay is really simple, but offers so much tactics and strategy usage that you can just plain destroy your enemy. So here it goes, you have missele silos, those are the main and biggest weapons in the game, they work as huge nuke-launchers and air defence(which is major part of them). And you can build air-fields, regural fighters takes down enemy planes/ships and bombers which can launch 1 nuke. Then there is fleet carrier, main battleship and submarine(which can also launch nukes).

With these your mission is to defend your cities and destroy the enemy. The one who misseles the most essential cities wins(has biggest score). Games can be really short as the nukes won't come back(and nothing comes), so you have to use them carefully and think before spam them. I had so much fun when I finally managed to get in online game(demo has online game), came second tho. Sad

Im pretty excited to play this too. I never got around to playing darwinia, but maybe this game will have me play it.
