Hey, don't be too hard on SoaD. It's not their fault the radio stations can't mix it up better. Here's the 93.7 playlist for the Twin Cities area most days.

BYOB
Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Boulevard of Broken Dreams
BYOB
BYOB
That Seether song I hate
BYOB
Boulevard of Broken Dreams

It was a good song at first until they drove the playability into the ground like a railroad spike. At least it's not as bad as stinkin' Evanescence.

Yeah, it's a shame for Metallica to get overplayed. ACDC gets the same treatment here in Minnescrotum. They need to come up with better new stuff so they don't have to play so much from the vaults. And I agree with Death that Gorillaz is some good mammajamma.

I listen to my Yahoo station. I've been tuning it for 2 years now. I love it. Plays everything I like from Louis Armstrong to Disturbed. Fav CDs at the moment ar Pink Floyd, Crystal Method, Soul Coughing, and Rage Against The Machine.

I don't listen to radio much, I can't find a good one that plays all metal. I tend to listen to albums on my comp. A good album is a thing of beauty, just like to songs it is made up of. I listen to whole albums at a time usually. Now it is Megadeth's Youthanasia.

A good source of online radio, which I listen to some(they have a killer power/fantasy metal station) www.live365.com

best time to listen is either in the morning 9 - 11 am (GMT -5) for the T & T morning show, pretty funny stuff
or 2 - 7 pm (or something like that) for the Gasman... he's hilarious Smile

XM radio baby, XM!

I know you didn't just say that XM radio is for rich ppl who like to brag about having XM radio (my dad has it btw)

Why he has it:
so he can listen to fox news audio feed over the radio
listen to nascar races.

now I am a huge any genre fan and like all kinds of stuff, huge classic and new rock fan also. Yet I have found No staions on XM that I can listen to b/c the 1/200 stations is classic rock and it plays any classic rock from reallly really old to semi-old from really really sucky to amazing. I would rather listen to my barrage of 15 dif. local FM staions that play classic/new rock. Not to mention all the hit's stations. Then just flip staionts during commercials. Don't get me wrong XM is a great concept, but right now xm really needs to quit giving all the underground genres there own stations, or get a few more mainstream stations that focus on more mainstream music.

Then again you could go the other rich kid way and buy an Ipod, then buy a new head/reciever for your car stereo and then get an i-pod adapter. This way you choose the songs, the playlists, the order and anything else you want. Yea it'll cost a lot but hey, I have been usin mine for a half a year now, no problems, and it is great.

/music rant, sorry I went a lil overboard there guys, but I was looking forward 2 XM, and it was a shot to the heart when I went cruizing the stations to only hear an occasional good song. Top Tracks(classic rock) is really the only semi-decent station.
