PoTC 2 Topic in the movie section Smile

I went and saw it yesterday with some friends. It was great Very Happy The movie was about as good as the first one, maybe a little better. The camerawork was excellent and the cinematic effects were a great touch. I think you guys should see it Smile

******** SPOILERZ ****************

I was a little upset because now I HAVE to see the third movie. I also was a little confused because it was as though Turner forgot about his dad by the end... wtf? Weird.

*********** END SPOILERZ ************

I still wanna do Keira Knightley Razz

Dude, I was alittle shocked though. I don't remember any other Disney movie with that much cussing, violence, and sexual themes/refferences. I still thought it was great, and better than the first. Just surprised.

***SPOILER LOL***

I thought the ending was a great cliff hanger. Enough to make you think "wtf, how are they gonna explain him being there again". I mean the world that it's based in is kinda Sci-fi, and they could basically throw any reasoning in there and it would most likely work.

***NO MORE SPOILER LOL***

1. I would do kiera knightly dressed like a guy.

2. Keith Richards ftw in the next one.

Not your Father's Disney for sure. Used to be Disney = suck.

I liked it - tthe whole family went and we had 4 out of 6 thumbs up. I know at least one Up was for the grossness level, but it also accounted for one Down. I like filth and muck in piratey films, so it didn't bother me Wink

All ye little bastards got to go see it though.

Yes. The dog is the new king of the island.

The last post-credits bit about the monkey becoming undead again had some relevance to this movie, I wonder if the dog and his tribe of cannibals are going to be part of the plot in the next film?

// Barely-Spoiler (whole post)

Agree about the third now being necessary — one thing I liked about the first was that it was complete without a sequel...
