anyone else here following the unfolding development o

fNC

it is final fantasy 13 and its gonna be 3 games
the first one is just reg ff13 is looks badass as hell
the other one is called like Final fantasy Versus 13
and aparently it is going ot be the first final fantasy tragedy
it looks badass as hell
and the last one is called like ff13 agito and its for mobile phones.

but they all look reallyt fucking badass. like the fight scenes could easily be mistaken for actual fmv's
i just need 600 for a ps3.

might I remind you.... FFX-2? XD

I, personally, dunno... I haven't played FF12 yet, but FFX, FFX-2, and FFXI weren't as good as the original FF's, if that trend continues, FF13 will be good, but it won't be great, SquareEnix will just know it'll sell because it's FF, and the graphics and whatnot are gonna carry the game... Square did a heck of a lot better making FF's than when they merged

alot of people say that they are progessively getting worse

but i beg to differ. theya re changing dramatically. squenx is all about innovation lately, and for that i commend them. theyve done some stuff wrong( Cool

and theyve done some stuff right. but i have a big feeling that 12 will be the perfect balance of

innovation (like 8, it was innovative but the rest of the game was weak)

storyline (for some reason im getting ff6 vibes from it, and it looks equally as captivating as 9 adn as fucking crazy as 7)

graphics are allways good

dont hate on X, they tried something really new, and for the most part it worked out very well. alot of poeple hate on new FF's cause they arent like the old ones. but we cant make every game to be a remake of 6/9

fair enough X and X-2 didnt stand out and i dont like playing monthly for XI but i think XIII should do well(hopefully)

I really didn't like 10 though, it was the worst one IMO, they took the World Map out of 10 (dunno if it's in 12), and the World Map has been a staple in the series for its entire span... that's like taking vehicles out of a Battlefield game

and in 10 they barely had anything to do other than the story, blitzball was great, yes, but there wasn't any use to it, the little Calm Lands minigames sucked, in 7 there was the Gold Saucer, chocobo breeding and the Weapons, dunno about 8, in 9 there was that card game, the chocobo minigame, and a bunch of abilities to master (I loved that system too, it's almost as good as the materia system)

but now I'm just ranting

<3 FF7 and 9, they're best ones imo because of the great minigames, sidequests(yay chocobos) and obviously the storylines and the abilities and materia systems were great but im curious to see what number 13s gonna be like *gasp*

err........if you all are realy into that.........you are bigger nerds than i though........and this is comming from some one that built his own comps.......and is about to spend $2,000 to build a replacement for a $2,300 comp that is less than a year old......... Rolling Eyes
