In memory of K9 Carlos, 02/1993 - 05/29/2006

K9 Carlos

Either by his own doing, or with some help like the last time, Carlos got out of the fence the other night. I found him tonight. He had been hit by a car. He and I were partners together for around 3-4 years and they let me keep him when he retired. I buried him on my parents property next to K9 Happy, my first drug dog. I laid him to rest w/ his favorite toy as well as his tracking harness and leash, just in case he has to go after anyone. Rest easy old friend, your tour is over.

Dude man, I'm sorry to hear that. From what I heard he was one of the best drug dogs around. It's tough to lose a friend... and it hurts. I've already lost Ivan and Victoria is next in line. Parting ways just seems to get to me.

I'm sorry to hear that K9....It's really too bad that animals can't stay around with us longer than thier life allows them too, but it must of finally been his time. For all the good he has served on Earth, he deserves a wonderful afterlife.
