Ranking is evil, BF2 is incomplete, and EA/DICE should've stopped with BF1942...

EA just wants to have ranking for its games only. This way people will play their games for the ranks. But honestly, I don\'t know why it would matter. Everyone would have to buy BF2 to play the mod they want. But you already have their money, why dictate what they want to play?

Perhaps EA is worried about how the ranking system would work. Maybe ABR will make some stupid Rankings. This is by far not true. We are people too. We can make moral judgements based on what can be classified as a decent ranking. Why have something like this:

Now you get a badge!\"

We\'re not stupid. We\'d never create a ranking like that. You already broke our spirits with the 1.3 patch. You already fired Laurence Brown (Creator of BFP) from your Mod Supporting Department.

Why deny us of something else?

I'm not really for or against rankings. But why deny the support in favor of the community again? THAT'S what I have a problem with.

a LOT of mod devs signed that.... wow

i remember seeing quite a few of those names on the editor forum, im thinking someone posted that link there too

I wouldn't doubt it's floating around every mods website that even had the remote question of using ranking.
