Looks great and you don't really need a border unless you are planning on using a lighter more purple background. IE if your going to use it on a dark grey forums/black forums I would keep it how it is, and I would center it in your sig.

If he were to use a border I would just do a darker shade of purple. Black borders look shitty on dark BG's and you know I'm right, don't make me pop back up in heaven and backhand you...

That would be why one would use a double border. Light shade of purple on the inside, with a black border on the outer rim. Phag.
