I call it Soda. But seriously, good topic, lubber. As recent as earlier today I was pondering a very similar question. Remembering when my Aunt and Uncle had brought my three year old cousin over, and my uncle asked him if he wanted some pop in which he took for himself(And which the little bastard dumped on the carpet later out of rage)and I thought to myself, "Wow, he calls soda 'pop', what a pussy."

Just so you know it is called "coke" in the south, and that's all that matters. Very Happy

Any soda is called coke, doesn't matter if it actually is coke or not.

I just call em fizzy drinks since they're drinks...that are fizzy but I rarely drink them since my aunt got me to stay off them for 3 weeks and now i dont touch the stuff(plus I saw the movie 'Supersize Me'). Smile

I usually call it by its name (Pepsi, Coke, etc) but otherwise it's "soda".

I'm very proud to say I don't use Pop anymore, I've actually been calling it coke or soda so I don't get made fun of too badly when I move to TN Razz
