I've been on the net for over 10 years and have never had a virus, trojan, or anything else for that matter. I've never run any antivirus software either....you boys need to saty off those porn sites Wink

I don't think Nintendo has ever tricked anyone like that before.

The people who make certain games on the other hand... I remember when Final Fantasy have GREAT ingame videos and they said it was actual gameplay (which is kinda was), but it was just Final Fantasy VII and the graphics you play in were different from the movie's graphics. Though the graphics for FFVII were phenominal for it's time period.

Anyone who says they don't like Pokemon is lieing to their childhood.
Everyone played it all the time and loved it.
If it had died aftere the first 2 came out, we'd be all nostalgic about it.
But, since it is still being made, it is still "just kids stuff" and therefor not cool to talk about.
You are allowed to be nostalgic about Red and Blue (and maybe Yellow) Versions!
If you can disable the pokemon from the later games I will totally have to play that.

Milk and I used to tag team up on them. I can't vouge for him, but I had Red, Yellow, Gold and Silver Versions. There might be like something else, but I dunno.

Our primary was the cards.

Those cards are pretty cool collectables. At first, I wanted to get them all, which I did with the First set of cards they released. Then they released Jungle... then Fossil... then Team Rocket... I stopped collecting when I got some Jungle and Fossil. After that, It was rediculous to keep trying. You CAN'T get them all unless you're a flippin addict and have money.

I collected pokemon cards too. There is this huge fantasy game shop in Helsinki and it was also best place to buy rare pokemon cards. They also had their own pokemon league and I played there for a while. There was always opponents to challenge.

Meh I disagree, I collected the first series and a few from the second. After that I stopped altogether and don't even know where they are now. When they first came out they were cool, but as time grew they became over-rated, over-mechandised, and over-hyped

I mean what kid doesn't like the Idea of monster I mean, cumon. But they simply overdid it, and it became burnt out and lame. I don't blame them for being greedy, but it def. ruined it for me.

As far as nostalgia goes, who here used to watch a few episodes of power ranger, and still thinks highly of them? Child things that don't die in your childhood become something in another persons childhood, and thus are childish in your point of view.
I can't think of any cartoon that as a kid did not die in my childhood, that I still think highly of today, like damned I miss that.

well, you have a point there Massive, I'll retract that and say I have never had a virus that was destructive if ever i had one. Yes i use e-mail....if I don't know ya I won't open your attachments. I use my yahoo address or my msn addy to sign up for all those sites you occasionally have to sign up to get stuff from and such. The great and powerful OZ has spoken. Very Happy

Damn straight! I still think the Ninja Turtles fucking own all. I actually bought the entire first series when they released it. I started watching it and was like "Wow... this brings back memories." Problem is that you don't realize how childish it was and you get bored easily. xD

My top games for Wii sadly arent coming at launch, Super Mario Galaxy and SSBB. Im still looking forward to Zelda, Metroid Prime 3 and maybe even Red Steel in the meantime though.
