You know the movie about 9/11 that's gonna be on theathers on April. I really wasn't surprised at all that they made this movie so quick, after all you know that the movie's gonn catch some big bucks for the producers so it was only a matter of time before someone decided to capitalize on that.

So what are you'r thought, are you gonna see it? and do you think the US is prepared for a movie of this emotional magnitude?

I honestly won't be seeing it. Something that is like that and sticks in hearts due to the people that were lost at 9/11 would only sadden me thinking about what happened that day.

It's the same reason why I could never see Passion of the Christ. Something with just a massive impact on society I just can't seem to witness again. However, I honor those people who went in to lend a hand out to other people on that fateful day. With this, I don't need a movie to remind me of their actions and would only end up crying.

I don't really care about seeing it...

I don't exactly know their motive for making it (other than ze money), but I hope they don't portray it as some stupid Lifetime Channel-esque film where THEM EVIL AY-RABS R GUNA HAV 2 PAY!!!!!111!!1!

I'm not going to see it, because I'm a direct victim of the attacks. I know what it's like to go through it, and I don't need a movie to tell me otherwise..... and I don't really want to cash in on it either.

stupid hollywood jerks, all they want is money, so it'll probably be an anti-arab racist type of really stupid drama movie, if it were, say, more of a documentary than a movie, I'd be tempted to see it

It also surprised me a movie like that came out so quickly. A movie about pearl harbor didn't come out until 1953, long after the whole war even. I hear that the movie is going to be very accurate aswell (right down to the clothes the passengers are wearing). I think I may abstain from seeing this one for now, but I'm sure someday I will watch it just because of the historical factor.

And it's not that I don't care about the victims or anything like that, if that's what you got from my post. I just think it's kind of...underhanded, i guess...to make a movie of it and so soon.

I wont see it - but I dont see any movies really...

I think it might be ok for historical purposes. I cant believe how quickly it all fell off the radar. I guess I dont mind a refresher course on just how much difference there is between our nation's assumptions of reality and teh reality.

FUCK this movie looks retarded, nothing against the actual people on the flight, just that they are attempting to make a movie about it wayyyy to soon. wait a decade and a half, and have steven speilberg direct it, this looks really out of place.

Well I saw it today.

And what can I say. It was a very emocional film for me and that's from someone who isn't even American, so the patriotic thing might not be there for me but still it was very harsh watching everything.

It was a good movie and it captured the esence of the film which was to portray the brave people that where in flight 93 that decided to stand up to the highjackers.

I would tell the end but I don't know if someone's gonna see it, so i don't want to spoil it for them.

Well, it kinda already happened, so we kinda already know how it ends. Unless they decided to be phags and screw up history.
