I have to agree with Shoes. I was attached to the Lincoln battlegroup assigned to the Gulf (USS Pasadena). Not sure of the exact timing but I would be surprised if they were ever near a Canadian lighthouse...

It is funny - whether true or not. Very Happy I SERIOUSLY doubt it is true though because it totally does NOT follow military radio protocol... Crazy stupid shit does happen though...

The Lincoln (coincidentally) called our submarine to help come put out a fire on their flight deck after one of their fighters blew up during a botched landing attempt. If anyone has ever seen a submarine next to a carrier they would see why that was a funny (stupid) request. Wink
