Are there any good recording programs besides Fraps?

Because whenever I try to record any game -- BF2, BF1942, Starcraft, Soldat....the audio works but the video doesn't. I've tried opening the file in VLC Media Player(god), Winamp, and Windows Media Player. I've also tried compressing the file and then viewing it, but that does nothing. I've done this with both the registered and unregistered versions of Fraps, and nothing works...

Unless anyone knows how I can fix this, are there any decent recording programs?

let me reinstall my Fraps and take a look at the setup again and I will be able to help you....some of the others may have some helpful hints sooner Very Happy

I remember I had a problem like that too, says you need some different codecs, like divX or something, I think

Which version of Fraps are you using?

There are probably a ton of other programs out there that will let you do the same thing as Fraps, but it is also probably the best program for recording games.

Get the newest version of fraps.
