I liked Final Fantasy Tactics and 9. I began playing 7 and probably got half way before I guess I got bored.

I don't own a PS2 b/c when it first came out, I was still in the "I'm not gonna be trendy" phase. And everyone had a PS2, so I got a Gamecube and then eventually xbox.

I cant say if i liked FF7 or 9 better as they were both great but has anyone played FF5? I played some of it and it wasnt too bad at all. and of course who played the FF9 Chocobo Side Quest? I spent days playing that mini game alone.

there was an Emerald Weapon in FF9? for Zidane? and yea i found em all too and i got to the Chocobo Paradise*smugness* which was fun and pointless at the same time. Cool

Emerald weapon was an extremely hard boss in FF7. Even w/ my lvl 90 Cloud and lvl 70-80 Vincent and Cid, it was still as hard as hell to beat him.

i was talking about 9 earlier.
but in 7 i attempted emerald like once, but then i realised i didnt feel like devoting 5000 years to leveling up my guys to even remotely stand a chance. but i tried taht thats what counts.

Wasn't the cap at lvl 60?

I beated those weapons, got pretty worthless chocobo, which could fly and stuff. Then you could fly to the island and get the uber summon(which was great help to beat Emerald)

Anyway have you guys beaten the Weapon in FF8? That was pretty hard too(even tho the whole FF8 was reaaallllly easy, yet so enjoyable).

but back to the subject. yeah ff8 is pretty fucking easy. i whipped through half of disc 3 in like 30 minutes. the other day. but its fun alot of people hate it for its graphics, and poeple say that the only thing it has going for it is the graphics. but honestly i think the pretty awesome graphics do make up for the sort of halfassed story line well enough. in the one scene where you are boxing a glabadian soldier while theres an fmv running in the background of seeds fighting adn shit blowing up. thats just straight up badass and it totally makes up for the not extremely strong story line.
